Explorations in Visualization by Lena Love

The truth of the human experience is that everybody wants to feel more happiness and peace. We differ only in our way of going about creating these states. Ironically, we are conditioned to believe that external circumstances create inner realities; when in fact— it is the other way around.

Imagine if as a child you were taught the skills of visualizing the ideal world of your imagination and encouraged to explore the infinite possibilities of consciousness and creation. Imagine what our world might look like if our potential had a voice and wasn’t merely channeled into preexisting forms. These are considerations of revolutionary significance. The process of exploration and remembering are the same, because through opening our imagination we come back to our original nature as creators of our own reality and destiny.

Exploration Exercise:

Close your eyes and imagine you are 5 years old. Imagine all the excitement stirring within your heart about everything you are learning in the world and everything you hope to discover and create. Imagine the whole word is a blank canvas, what would be your first stroke? What quality, physical, magical or social would you like this world to have? What would be the 3 rules that everyone would abide by to ensure that everyone could continue enjoying life on this planet. What is your role in this imaginary world. What do people come to you for? Imagine yourself delighted to help and create solutions in your imaginary role. Allow yourself to feel gratified in everything you see unfolding from your creation. Stay here exploring this world for at least 5 minutes. Slowly open your eyes and ask yourself, “Am I living my highest purpose?”
